Dr. Colibazzi received his medical degree (M.D.) from the Catholic University of Rome, Italy. After working for the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), he went on to train in Psychiatry at Northwestern University in Chicago and served as Chief Resident. He later moved to Columbia University and completed a clinical research fellowship in mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. Colibazzi has presented at national and international conferences and he is currently Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University where he supervises residents and conducts research.

Dr. Colibazzi is an active member of several associations including the Medical Society of the State of New York, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychoanalytic Association and the Association for Psychoanalytic Medicine.
